Job summary

The Arnott's Group, Campbell Malaysia Asia hub based in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead a production team of operators and technicians, ensuring daily output targets are met safely and efficiently.

You will drive discipline, coach staff, monitor OEE, downtime, waste, and quality defects, while coordinating with Planning/Warehouse and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/ E&E/ Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of supervisory experience leading operators and technicians.
• Working knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
• Familiar with lean/ CI tools and structured problem-solving.
• Strong leadership, discipline, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead production shift team to hit daily output targets safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate schedules and RM readiness with Planning/Warehouse; ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor line performance; troubleshoot equipment/process issues to minimize downtime.
• Track KPI metrics (OEE, downtime, waste, quality defects) and drive corrective actions.
• Coach and develop team; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

Summary of the role:

You’ll supervise a production shift team (operators and technicians) to hit daily output targets safely and efficiently, driving discipline, coaching, and performance while tracking key KPIs like OEE, downtime, waste, and quality defects.

What you’ll be doing:

Shift leadership & execution: lead operators/technicians, coordinate schedules and RM readiness with Planning/Warehouse, and deliver daily production targets with strong discipline.

Line performance & troubleshooting: monitor line efficiency and quality, resolve equipment/ process issues fast, and minimize downtime, waste, and shortfalls.

KPI tracking & reporting: track OEE, machine utilization, volume, overtime spend, downtime, yield, waste and defects, and drive corrective actions.

Coaching & capability building: train and coach the team on process/ equipment/ safety, support cross-training and continuous improvement, and manage performance reviews and feedback.

Requirements:

Degree in Chemical/ E&E/ Mechanical Engineering (or related)

Must be able to work shifts.

2 years of supervisory experience leading operators and technicians.

Working knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).

Familiar with lean/ CI tools and structured problem-solving.

Strong leadership, discipline, and communication.
