Job summary

Taylor's University in Malaysia is seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to design, develop and optimize enterprise web technology solutions focusing on SharePoint and integration with other applications.

The role covers custom feature development, admin tasks, user education, security, and guidance on performance improvements and governance. 3–6 years of C#/.NET and SharePoint experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3-6 years’ experience in C#/.NET customization and development with SharePoint and SharePoint Online.
• Experience in designing and technical development knowledge based on MS SharePoint solutions including custom coding.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, XML, JSON, SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages and PowerShell.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016 with custom integration with AD, ADFS and SharePoint Online.
• Hands-on experience programming in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio C#/.NET, Workflow Foundation, InfoPath with MS SQL server backend.
• Experience in Java and database programming in MSSQL/MySQL/Oracle is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills; capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement enterprise web technology solutions, including custom code when needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design SharePoint solutions meeting business requirements.
• Lead development and lifecycle evolution of standards and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into usable applications.
• Provide technical solutions for changes requested by users.
• Maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documentation.
• Estimate work content and manage timelines.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Recommend performance enhancements and load balancing considerations.
• Review system resources and governance logs; ensure SharePoint health.
• Develop and implement critical SharePoint collaboration sites.
