Job summary

CITIC CLSA is seeking a detail-oriented Settlements Officer in Kuala Lumpur to manage daily settlement tasks across securities, equity, derivatives and new products. You will support post-execution processes and ensure accurate trade confirmations, allocations, and settlements for both domestic and foreign clients.

You will also contribute to a smooth onboarding process (KYC and periodic reviews) and collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
• Self-motivated and possesses good interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Possesses good logical thinking.
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily settlement tasks for all securities, equity, derivatives and new future products.
• Provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers within the Operations scope.
• Support post-execution processes for equities transactions of foreign and domestic institutional investor-clients, including trade allocation and booking, trade confirmation, trade matching, settlement of both clients and market trades and trade reporting.
• Ensure smooth client account onboarding process, including KYC and periodic reviews.
• Perform and monitor daily settlement on regulator's clearing system and CLSA back office system.
• Adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures by working closely with Compliance and Risk management team.
• Monitor and update all new market data and client information.
• Comply with CLSA group policy to avoid any unexpected risks.
