Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sec & Derivatives Senior Analyst to support processing orders and investigations across trading desks and branches, aligned with Operations - Transaction Services for clearance and settlement of client securities.

You will resolve complex processing problems, oversee hedge fund tasks, and provide guidance to junior staff while ensuring compliance with laws and Citi policies.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in securities processing or related operations.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of AI concepts as a desirable qualification.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex processing problems requiring evaluation of securities procedures.
• Process hedge fund tasks including NAV calculations, cash/holding reconciliation and pricing.
• Provide advanced solutions and guidance to junior staff.
• Oversee hedge fund setup and represent the securities processing team.
• Serve as expert for processing deliverables and initiatives.
• Prepare budgets, analyze expenses and unaudited statements.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citi policies.
