Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with UPS/PDUs/electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems.
• Experience supporting service calls, fault response, and fieldwork at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain data center power systems (UPS, PDUs, Busway).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot power equipment.
• Support field service and customer interactions to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Travel to customer sites for fieldwork and issue resolution.

An exciting opportunity is available with a company specialising in electrical and digital building infrastructure, supporting residential, commercial, and industrial markets. This position focuses on installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center power systems, with particular emphasis on UPS, PDU, and Busway solutions. The role offers hands‑on technical exposure in field service and project implementation, with direct impact on system reliability, uptime, and customer support.

Required Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering

Required Experience: At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in installation and maintenance of UPS systems, PDUs, or electrical distribution systems Experience with on‑site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems Experience supporting service calls, fault response, and fieldwork at customer locations

Required Skills: Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, Busway, and associated electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Understanding of safety and compliance standards, including IEC and local electrical codes Ability to maintain service records, technical reports, and customer feedback documentation Problem‑solving capability with a strong customer‑service mindset Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams for spare parts, upgrades, and support Willingness to travel and perform site‑based fieldwork
