Schneider Electric Industries (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to support critical data center operations. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems, including UPS, STS, PTU, battery solutions and cooling, in mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 1–2 years UPS field service experience, and is comfortable with on-site client

Competenze

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (preferred).
1–2 years UPS field service experience, data center focus preferred.
In-depth knowledge of UPS, electrical systems, PTU and mechanical troubleshooting.
Experience with UPS and cooling in data centres is a strong advantage.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and software for UPS systems.

Mansioni

Install and commission UPS systems within data centers.
Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on UPS systems.
Troubleshoot UPS and PTU to minimize downtime.
Maintain service records and ensure safety and manufacturer guidelines.
Provide clients with reports on system status and recommendations.
Attend customer sites on 24x7 on-call rotations.
