Job summary

Crown Equipment Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated Service Technician for our Penang workshop. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a range of material handling equipment to ensure reliability and safety for our clients.

In this hands-on role, you will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and document service activities. A strong technical background and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • SPM, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a forklift / service technician or mechanic in a similar industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills and committed to work.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various types of material handling equipment specifically Forklift.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used in repairs.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and technical advancements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.
