Job summary

Jungheinrich Lift Truck Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair and testing of forklifts and reach trucks at customer sites in Malaysia. You will also assist with commissioning and documentation.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, control and electrical issues, and producing service reports while ensuring compliance with safety directives and manufacturer specifications. Occasional on-site logistics support may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repairs and legal inspection of electrically operated trucks according to directives and manufacturing specifications
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanics, hydraulics, controls and electrical industrial components, partly in collaboration with internal and external support
• Creation and care of system documentation and parameter back-ups
• Testing of safety equipment as a specialist (only with attained additional qualification)
• Creation and care of maintenance lists for offer preparation
• Documentation of executed works with service reports
• Support for commissioning for VNAs
• Support truck collection and delivery if required

Service Technician (Forklift & Reach Truck)

The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and testing of trucks. This role also supports commissioning and at the customers' premises.

Key responsibilities

Maintenance, repairs and legal inspection of electrically operated trucks according to valid directives, safety regulations and manufacturing specifications

Troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanics, hydraulics, controls and electrical industrial components, partly in collaboration with internal and external support

Creation and care of system documentation and parameter back-ups

Testing of safety equipment as a specialist (only with attained additional qualification)

Creation and care of maintenance lists for offer preparation

Documentation of executed works with service reports

Support for commissioning for VNAs

Support truck collection and delivery if required
