Job summary

UNIQCEN SALES & SERVICES (SOUTHERN) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Technician to perform installation, preventive maintenance and repair for Precision Air Conditioning Systems, UPS, and Electrical/ELV systems at client sites. You will troubleshoot, commission, provide technical support and assist the Service Desk and Manager with technical reports and training.

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic engineering.
• Willing to learn and work at project/site locations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of ELV, Cooling/HVAC or electrical/power systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance and repair for Precision Air Conditioning System, UPS, and Electrical/ELV systems.
• Carry out maintenance, installation, configuration, start-up, testing and troubleshooting.
• Attend breakdown calls and standby for 24/7.
• Assist Service Desk & Service Manager with technical/ RCA reports and training.
• Support Cooling, Power & ELV teams and assist in project UAT handover.
• Conduct site surveys and assist Pre-Sales on design and site survey.

Service Technician are responsible for the maintenance and correction of products or services that have been sold. They offer off-site corrective and preventive maintenance as well as other after-sales technical support solutions. Often interact with customers to provide information and procedures to address the inquiries, concerns and requests to their products and services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. To perform installation, preventive maintenance and repair for Precision Air Conditioning System, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Mechanical & Electrical system.
• 2. Carry out maintenance, installation, configuration, start-up, testing, commissioning, UAT, troubleshooting, technical support and repairing
• 3. Attend breakdown call and standby for 24/7.
• 4. To assist Service Desk & Service Manager to generate any Technical & RCA Report and attend for Technical Meeting/Training.
• 5. To assist and support Cooling, Power & ELV team when necessary.
• 6. To assist and handle all project UAT (hand over).
• 7. To perform site survey as and when required by Service Manager or Service Admin Manager.
• 8. To assist Pre-Sales on Design, Technical Advice and Site Survey.
• 9. Carry out Ad Hoc task or projects for continuous work process improvement from time to time as required by the superior/ the Company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Diploma/Degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic or related Engineering.
• 2. Interested in Data Centre / M&E / ELV systems.
• 3. Basic knowledge of ELV, Cooling/HVAC or Electrical/Power systems is an advantage.
• 4. Willing to learn and work at project/site locations.
• 5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
• 6. Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 7. Able to work independently and follow instructions.
