Job summary

H&Y Maintenance is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to service and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems in restaurant environments. You will perform dismantling, installation, and adjustments across HVAC equipment and related technical systems to ensure continuous operation.

Applicants should have background in HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical fields with hands-on problem solving, the ability to work across locations, and licenses.

Qualifications

• Background in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Electrical, or related technical fields.
• Strong experience in air conditioning maintenance, servicing, and repair, with focus on 5HP and above.
• Experience in maintenance, servicing, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and basic electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning troubleshooting and technical repair principles.
• Basic knowledge and hands-on skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Solid hands‑on skills with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Able to use various maintenance tools and equipment effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a high‑intensity environment with flexible working hours.
• Possess valid GDL & PW4 licenses and willing to work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and electrical equipment in restaurants.
• Carry out dismantling, installation, and adjustment work for all technical equipment including HVAC and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults quickly to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, daily maintenance tasks, and scheduled inspections as required.
• Monitor equipment operating conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance supervisor in executing maintenance schedules and tasks.
• Maintain tools and assist in basic spare parts handling when necessary.

Work Locations:

Sungai Petani, Alor Setar, Penang Island & Langkawi (Outstation work is required).

Experience:

Repairing and servicing 5HP & above air conditioning systems: 2 years (Preferred)

Candidates with strong experience in air conditioning will be given priority.

License/Certification:

• Possess valid GDL & PW4 licenses and willing to work across multiple locations.
