Job summary

Jungheinrich Malaysia seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair and testing of electrically operated trucks. The role includes support for commissioning at customer sites and documentation of service activities.

Core tasks involve diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing specifications, and assisting with VNAs commissioning and vehicle handovers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electromechanical background is required.
• Ability to apply and utilize knowledge of a Junior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repairs and legal inspection of electrically operated trucks.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, controls and electrical components.
• Creation and care of system documentation, parameter backups.
• Testing of safety equipment as a specialist (with qualification).
• Creation and care of maintenance lists for offer preparation.
• Documentation of executed works with service reports.
• Support for commissioning for VNAs.
• Support truck collection and delivery if required.

Job description

The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and testing of trucks. The jobholder also supports commissioning and at the customers’ premises.

Core tasks of the function:

• Maintenance, repairs and legal inspection of electrically operated, trucks. According to valid directives, safety regulations and manufacturing specifications
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics on mechanics, hydraulics, controls and electrical industrial components. Partly in collaboration with internal and external support
• Creation and care of system documentation, parameter back-ups
• Testing of safety equipment as a specialist (only with attained additional qualification)
• Creation and care of maintenance lists for offer preparation
• Documentation of executed works e.g. with service reports
• Support for commissioning for VNAs
• Support truck collection and delivery if required

Qualifications + Experience:
