Job summary

Top Degree (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia seeks a service technician with a Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, testing, and on-site servicing, verify kits against drawings, inspect workmanship for defects, and travel to customer sites to provide installation training.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, and testing of equipment according to the required timeline.
• Assemble and integrate a variety of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies.
• Obtain and verify kitted (pre-picked) parts and assemblies to ensure they have been issued correctly by comparing part numbers and quantities against the drawings.
• Inspect completed work after each operation and upon job completion to ensure the assembly complies with the drawings, is free from defects, and the work area is clean and orderly.
• Travel to customer sites to carry out installation, servicing, and training as scheduled.
