Job summary

Top Degree (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia seeks a service technician with a Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, testing, and on-site servicing, verify kits against drawings, inspect workmanship for defects, and travel to customer sites to provide installation training.

Qualifications

Certificate in Engineering with relevant discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, and testing of equipment according to the required timeline.
Assemble and integrate a variety of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies.
Obtain and verify kitted (pre-picked) parts and assemblies to ensure they have been issued correctly by comparing part numbers and quantities against the drawings.
Inspect completed work after each operation and upon job completion to ensure the assembly complies with the drawings, is free from defects, and the work area is clean and orderly.
Travel to customer sites to carry out installation, servicing, and training as scheduled.
