Job summary

KONE Corporation in Malaysia is offering a Service Intern role to support the Service team with daily operations and coordination for elevator and escalator services.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to service coordination, working closely with technicians, supervisors, and the service office team. Open to students pursuing engineering/operations technical fields, with a full-time commitment of 5–6 months and Klang Valley commuting capability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Facility Management) or related fields.
• Commit to a full-time internship (min 5–6 months, per school requirement).
• Based in Klang Valley or able to commute there.

Responsibilities

• Support daily service operations and administrative tasks.
• Assist tracking of service jobs, maintenance schedules, and reports.
• Help prepare simple reports, data updates, and documentation.
• Coordinate with the service team on job status, follow-ups, and updates.
• Support basic customer and internal queries related to service operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned by the team.
• Learn KONE’s service processes, safety practices, and quality standards.

About the Role:

As a Service Intern, you will support KONE’s Service team in ensuring smooth daily operations for elevator and escalator services. You will gain hands-on exposure to service coordination and operational support, working closely with technicians, supervisors, and the service office team. This role is ideal for students who want real business exposure in engineering, operations, or technical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily service operations and administrative tasks
• Assist the team in tracking service jobs, maintenance schedules, and reports

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/ Facility Management (open to related fields)
• Able to commit to full-time internship (minimum 5–6 months, subject to school requirement)
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
• Must be based in or able to commute within Klang Valley
