Job summary

Responsibilities

• Data cleaning and preparation to ensure accuracy of customer data.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management insights.
• Identify trends and opportunities from data analysis.
• Create marketing campaign reports using data tools.
• Maintain the marketing database and distribution lists (WhatsApp/email).
• Coordinate events and programs, including venue setup and wrap-up.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor per Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad standards.

Job description

1) Data Cleaning and Preparation: This involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance (ensure the customer database is clean and updated).

2) Reporting: Data analysts prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to management, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.

3) Identifying Trends and Opportunities: Through data analysis, they uncover patterns and trends that help businesses capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

4) Providing marketing campaign reports using data analysis tools.

5) Managing the marketing database and WhatsApp/email distribution.

6) Overseeing the events and programs conducted by Hap Seng Star or Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. This includes setting up and clearing up the whole event venue.

7) Carry out tasks assigned by the superior in accordance with the requirements and standards of Hap Seng Star.

Job Requirements

1) At least 1 year working experience with the qualification of bachelor’s degree in the related field such as database administration and marketing communications. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
