Job summary

Powermatics Hydraulics & Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Marketing Executive to plan campaigns, create content, and manage social media across platforms in Malaysia. You will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support product launches, events, and lead generation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in marketing or related field.
• 1–3 years of marketing experience preferred; fresh grads welcome.
• Good understanding of social media and basic analytics.
• Passion for content creation including copywriting, photography, videography.
• Proficiency in design/video tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut) is a plus.
• Creative, well-organised, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong English and Malay communication; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities, both online and offline.

Create and manage engaging content, including photos, videos, captions, and basic marketing collaterals.

Manage and schedule social media content across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

Monitor social media performance, analyse engagement data, and prepare simple marketing reports.

Work closely with sales, engineering, and technical teams to support product launches and campaigns.

Stay updated on digital marketing trends and propose new ideas to improve brand visibility and lead generation.

Support marketing events, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities when required.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in marketing or a related field is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong initiative and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Good understanding of social media platforms and basic digital marketing analytics.

Passion for content creation, including copywriting, photography, videography, and basic graphic design.

Proficiency in design and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut, or similar software is an added advantage.

Creative, well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.

Good communication skills in English and Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
