Job summary

Bumificient Sdn Bhd seeks an engineering professional to provide after-sales technical support, including commissioning, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. You will inspect equipment, diagnose issues, and recommend corrective actions while ensuring quality checks before dispatch.

Strong English and Malay communication are required, with willingness to travel to customer sites and offshore platforms.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in technical service, field service, maintenance, or equipment support.
• Proficient in English and Malay; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-sales technical support including commissioning, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform product inspections to identify defects, diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct systematic commissioning and testing of new equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Offer customers technical guidance on operation, maintenance and care of equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests; ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare and submit accurate, detailed service reports after each visit.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering professional and responsive technical support.
• Coordinate with overseas manufacturers to resolve equipment issues.
• Perform quality checks on incoming rotating or static equipment and spare parts before shipment.

Ability to communicate with oversea manufacturer resolving equipment issue.

Perform quality check for the incoming rotating or static equipment & spare parts before ship out to customer.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

More than 3 years of relevant experience in technical service, field service, maintenance, or equipment support.

Good command of English and Malay.

Strong communication, problem-solving skills and ability to manage working condition pressure.

Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.

Own transportation and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Willing to work at offshore platform, petrochemical and marine.
