Job summary

GREENBAY CES (PG) SDN BHD in Penang is seeking a Service Engineer (Mechanical) to repair, maintain, and optimize M&E equipment in data centers. You will generate detailed reports, support incident resolution, and train site staff as needed.

Strong English writing skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The role involves routine preventive maintenance, testing, commissioning, and on-site issue resolution for critical power, cooling, rack, and cabling systems within our data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Proficient in writing in English.
• Multi-tasks effectively with good attitude.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with high level of commitment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service all related M&E critical equipment in data center.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance servicing for M&E equipment.
• Create detailed service reports and maintenance checklists.
• Provide incident reports for issues and breakdowns.
• Propose ideas/solutions for technical issues in data centers.
• Test and commission all related M&E equipment.
• Attend onsite issues and provide site training.
• Report to the Service Manager.

This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:

Perform to repair and service all related M&E critical equipment in data center present in maintenance contract.

Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance Servicing for M&E critical equipment in Data Center.

Perform to make detailed Service reports and maintenance checklist on all the work that is done on each M&E critical equipment in data center.

Provide Incident report for any issue and breakdown regarding to all related M&E critical equipment in Data center.

Provide idea, solution for any technical issue regarding to all related M&E critical equipment in Data center.

Perform Testing and commissioning for all related M&E critical equipment in data center.

Attend any issue which may occur onsite regarding all related M&E critical equipment in data center.

Provide site training for all related M&E critical equipment in data center.

Reporting to the Service Manager

REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant experience.

Proficient in writing in English

Multi-tasks effectively with good attitude

Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with high level of commitment and initiative

Able to work independently

The products or solutions will be such as below.

Critical power (UPS system, AVC and etc) and cooling (Precision Air Cond and In Row Air Cond) for data center and production.

Early warning smoke detection system for industrial environment such cleanroom, warehouse, hospital, airport and etc.

Rack and PDU.

Structure cabling system.

Security access and CCTV system.

Renewable Energy such as Solar system, EV charger and etc.
