Job summary

Greenbay Ces is seeking a Technician to join our data center maintenance team in Penang and Johor Bahru. The role focuses on repairing and servicing M&E critical equipment in our data centre under maintenance contracts.

You will perform preventive maintenance, generate detailed reports, and assist engineers with incident responses and testing. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering background, be fluent in Malay and English, and hold a valid driving license with own transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Proficient in writing in Malay & English.
• Multitasks effectively with good attitude.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with high level of commitment and initiative.
• Some knowledge in ISO documentation is necessary.
• Able to work independently.
• Possess own transport and valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service all related M&E critical equipment in the data centre present in maintenance contract.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance servicing for M&E critical equipment in the data center.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintenance checklists for each M&E critical equipment in the data center.
• Assist engineer to provide incident reports for issues and breakdowns relating to M&E critical equipment.
• Assist engineer to provide ideas and solutions for technical issues related to M&E equipment.
• Assist engineer or perform testing and commissioning for all related M&E critical equipment in the data center.
• Assist engineer or attend to any issue on-site regarding all related M&E equipment in the data center.
• Assist engineer to provide site training for all related M&E equipment in the data center.
