Service Engineer

Job summary

Tally in Malaysia seeks a field service engineer to plan, coordinate and supervise on-site activities including erection, service, repair, commissioning and maintenance of electrical equipment.

You will perform testing and commissioning, diagnose failures, supervise technicians, and travel for local and overseas commissioning as required. Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided for relevant disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willing to work in factory or at site work.
• Experience in testing and service oil type transformer would be added advantage.
• Other qualification includes technical skill training or relevant training would be advantage.
• Able to travel for local and oversea commission when require.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties planning, coordinating and supervising the field service activities (erection, service, repair, commissioning and maintenance for related electrical equipment or systems) and perform work as per requirement.
• Perform testing and commissioning activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system failures or malfunctions.
• Perform in house testing (IAT) and factory testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) with client.
• Perform direct supervision of service technician including assigning work and evaluating performance.
• Involve in area of HV and MV equipment, Switchgear, Control Panel design, LV equipment; AC UPS, Battery Charger, Solar Power System, Process Control Engineering, testing and commission of integrated PLC, and SCADA System including business management practices.
• Any other job responsibility that will be assigned to you from time to time by your superior.
