Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, inspect, diagnose, and maintain compressed air systems at diverse commercial and industrial sites.

You will train customers on operation and safety, prepare service and quality reports, and ensure all activities comply with HSE policies and local regulations while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in service, installation, site commissioning.
• Experience with compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, blowers, generators, HVAC, or similar electromechanical systems.
• Dynamic, fast-paced environment; able to work in a team or independently.
• Valid driving license.

• Conduct site and classroom training to customers on compressed air system.

• Document and prepare field service quality reports; feedback defects to production and assist customers with corrective measures.

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and proactive technical recommendations.

• Conduct site and classroom training to customers on compressed air system.
• Recommend necessary actions to improve the efficiency and reliability of customer’s compressed air system.
• General service report writing for internal and external customers.
• Document and prepare field service quality reports. If there are quality problems, it is necessary to feedback specific product defects to the production department and assist customers to take corrective measures.
• Ensure all service activities are performed in compliance with company HSE policies, customer safety requirements, and local regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and proactive technical recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in service, installation, site commissioning
• Experience in industrial equipment, compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, blowers, generators, HVAC, or other electromechanical systems.
• Dynamic and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Team player as well as the ability to work independently
• Valid driving license
