Role Overview

As a Service Engineer at EMS Test Measurement, you’ll go beyond equipment servicing - you’ll be at the forefront of test & reliability engineering. From advanced Environmental Test Systems to emerging solutions in renewable energy, EV battery testing, and high-tech manufacturing, you will play a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and performance across industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing & Reliability
    • Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of Environmental Test Systems.
    • Conduct reliability and performance tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Support customer R&D and QA teams in setting up accurate and repeatable test processes.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues to minimize downtime.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools, software, and methodologies for precision analysis.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends in reliability testing and environmental simulation.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Provide technical training and hands-on guidance to customer teams.
    • Partner with clients to enhance their reliability programs and test strategies.
    • Deliver excellent customer experience by ensuring dependable and timely support.
  • Collaboration & Growth
    • Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to deliver holistic solutions.
    • Document and maintain detailed service reports for knowledge sharing and improvement.
    • Continuously expand technical expertise through training and on-the-job learning.
Requirements
Must-have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in servicing, calibration, testing, or technical support
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Independent, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous learning
Good-to-have
  • Knowledge of reliability testing, environmental chambers, or test equipment
  • Familiarity with calibration standards and diagnostic tools/software
  • Experience supporting R&D or QA teams in testing and reliability projects
