Job summary

Organo (Asia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a field service engineer to support water treatment plants in Malaysia. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance for DIW and WWTP systems, and on-site repair services for customers.

The candidate will diagnose issues with piping, pumps, membranes, valves and instrumentation, and must be prepared to travel, work weekends, and hand over validated documentation to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a related field.
• Candidate must possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel; good communication skills.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

Job description

To provide water treatment plants troubleshooting, after-sales service and general maintenance work

To provide Technical knowledge of Industrial water treatment plants solutions and improvement for customers

Perform routine and preventive maintenance for DIW and WWTP systems

Diagnose and resolve issues in water treatment systems, including piping, pumps, membranes, valves, and instrumentation.

Carry out corrective maintenance and emergency repairs at site.

Responds to customer complaints; evaluates and resolves problems of the customer

Knowledge of Electrical Controls and Mechanical Operation

Ensure proper documentation, testing, and handover to clients.

Prepared to take orders from Superior and give orders to Technician

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in: Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum 2 years working experience in a related field.

Candidates must possess a valid driving licence.

Willing to travel, good communication skills.

Willing to work on Weekend and Public Holidays when required.

Position based in Johor Bahru.
