Job summary

Organo (Asia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a field service engineer to support water treatment plants in Malaysia. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance for DIW and WWTP systems, and on-site repair services for customers.

The candidate will diagnose issues with piping, pumps, membranes, valves and instrumentation, and must be prepared to travel, work weekends, and hand over validated documentation to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a related field.
• Candidate must possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel; good communication skills.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for water treatment plants, after-sales service and general maintenance.
• Provide technical knowledge of industrial water treatment plant solutions and improvements for customers.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for DIW and WWTP systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in water treatment systems, including piping, pumps, membranes, valves and instrumentation.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and emergency repairs at site.
• Respond to customer complaints; evaluate and resolve problems.
