Job summary

Singtel KL Global Business Services center is seeking a Service Delivery Engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise networks, SD-WAN, servers, virtualization and cloud environments.

You will manage incidents, perform troubleshooting, implement changes, ensure security compliance, monitor service availability, and help meet customer SLAs while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Computer Science/IT/IS or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong networking skills: routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware, AD, and virtualization tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 operational support for enterprise networks, SD-WAN, servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents involving routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, Windows, Linux, and VMware.
• Implement approved network, system, software, patching, and maintenance changes with security and change-management procedures.
• Monitor service availability, system health, capacity, and performance to meet customer SLAs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and prepare incident reports and preventive actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, support 24x7 operations when required, mentor junior engineers.

Skills for Success

• Graduate from Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related course
• At least 3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
• Strong capability in networking, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, change implementation, and root-cause analysis skills in production or 24x7 environments.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with internal teams, customers, vendors, and junior engineers.
