We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Crew to join Mas Awana Services Sdn Bhd in Alor Setar, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. As a Service Crew member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing prompt, professional, and attentive service that ensures every guest leaves with a memorable experience. Your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our hospitality operations.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in designated areas with courtesy and efficiency
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring orders are delivered to the correct guests
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the service area, including tables, chairs, and utensils
• Responding promptly to guest requests and enquiries, providing assistance and information as needed
• Processing payments and handling transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Clearing and resetting tables between seatings to prepare for the next guests
• Working collaboratively with kitchen staff, and fellow service crew to ensure smooth operations
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Assisting with special events, functions, and service setups as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in waiting staff, food service, or hospitality roles is advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact courteously with diverse guests and colleagues
• Excellent customer service orientation and a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences
• Attention to detail and the ability to take accurate orders and remember preferences
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or service items safely
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our establishment's specific service standards and procedures
