Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science.
• 8–10 years of enterprise server infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading infrastructure or server operations teams.
• Experience in large enterprise or data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, storage and backup platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of enterprise Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage VMware and Hyper‑V platforms.
• Oversee storage infrastructures (SAN/NAS/Fibre Channel/iSCSI/NVMe/TCP).
• Ensure backup, restore validation and DR testing.
• Drive patching, vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
• Lead ITIL-based incident, problem, change and capacity management.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python or Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring with Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, SolarWinds.
• Lead regional server engineers and vendor governance.
• Support data centre projects and server refresh/migrations.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter and Hyper‑V platforms.
• Manage physical server lifecycle, firmware, BIOS and hardware standards.
• Oversee SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NVMe/TCP storage infrastructure.
• Manage enterprise backup, restore validation and disaster recovery testing.
• Drive server patching, vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
• Lead Incident, Problem, Change and Capacity Management using ITIL practices.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python or Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring platforms including Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus and SolarWinds.
• Lead regional server engineers, vendor management and operational governance.
• Support infrastructure projects including server refresh, migrations and new data centre deployments.
• Maintain documentation, CMDB, SOPs and operational runbooks.
