Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Manager to act as PIC for all server-related matters, overseeing on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.

You will lead installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical servers, VMs (VMware/Hyper‑V), storage (SAN/NAS), and backup/DR processes, ensuring high availability. Strong leadership and English/Bahasa Malaysia communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, System Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years hands-on IT infrastructure and server administration.
• 2–3 years in supervisory/team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead/mentoring of junior IT staff and technical support personnel.
• Serve as escalation point (L3) for complex server, network, and infra issues.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical servers, VMs and storage systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure SLA compliance and timely hardware delivery.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and asset inventory logs.
• Lead infrastructure projects like server migrations, cloud deployments, hardware refreshes, and security enhancements.
