Job summary

Webby Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and optimize hybrid server environments across cloud platforms and on-premise systems.

The role focuses on Linux/Windows administration, cloud management (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Linode), automation, and high availability. Mandarin-English collaboration is essential, with some night shifts possible to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Certification in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of Linux system administration experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS and AD environments.
• Experience with Nginx, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written & spoken).
• Willingness to work night shifts when needed to support global operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and deployment of Cloud, Server, and Network services.
• Perform end-to-end management of Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor multi-cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Proactively monitor system health and respond to alerts.
• Review logs to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Maintain secure networking components and routing protocols.
• Develop scripts and Cron jobs to automate tasks and backups.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and high-availability strategies.
