Job summary

Randstad Malaysia in Johor Bahru is seeking a strategic sales professional to expand market coverage in the Southern Region, driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and delivering high-value sensor and automation solutions to key industrial clients.

You will work with local channel partners and direct accounts to secure orders, coordinate with internal teams for technical support, monitor market trends, and contribute to localized marketing and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Instrument Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Industrial/Factory Automation.
Strong technical knowledge of sensors, PLCs, safety systems or machine vision.
Experience with Food & Beverage or Manufacturing sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify and target new business opportunities across industrial, logistics, and factory automation sectors.
Perform consultative selling to understand client needs and recommend sensor solutions.
Work with local channel partners and direct accounts to secure orders and hit sales targets.
Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve inquiries and support application setup.
Track local market trends, monitor competitor movements, and report status via CRM systems.
Support localized marketing efforts, product demos, and promotional activities.
