Job summary

MY NAFCO PRECISION SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Process Development & Technology Leader to drive zinc-nickel plating innovations, validate new capabilities, and set design standards for aerospace, automotive, and high-reliability applications.

You will lead NADCAP/AS9100 compliance, oversee lab and materials engineering, mentor engineers, and advance Lean/Six Sigma projects, cost reduction, and productivity improvements while ensuring safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electroplating or surface treatment.
• Minimum 3 years in engineering leadership or process development management.
• Proven expertise in Zinc Nickel plating technologies.
• Experience within AS9100 and NADCAP-accredited environments.
• Experience supporting aerospace customers, OEMs, or Tier 1 suppliers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new plating technologies and process capabilities.
• Establish standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements and data-based decisions.
• Lead NADCAP audit preparation and compliance activities.
• Mentor Process Engineers and Technicians; manage budgets and priorities.
• Interface with customers on plating technology and requirements.
