Job summary

ADVANCED ASSEMBLY MATERIALS (M) SDN. BHD. seeks a process-minded engineer to oversee the Plating/Etching department, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement for leadframe manufacturing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve process capability and yield, and troubleshoot issues affecting productivity and quality. Requirements include a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and 3–5 years in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment, preferably

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plating/Etching department performance and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process capability and yield improvement.
• Coordinate troubleshooting of process issues and yield losses.
• Drive continuous process improvement and permanent solutions to quality issues.
