Job summary

Molex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior / Process Engineer to own yield, quality, and continuous-improvement activities in the plating department. You will drive root-cause analysis, SOPs, FMEA, and SPC while partnering across functions to resolve customer issues and ensure EHS compliance.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Customer Quality/Service to implement robust process controls and sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Experience with SPC, Cp/Cpk, FMEA, and SOP documentation.
• Problem-solving and cross-functional improvement project leadership.
• Familiarity with EHS requirements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve yield and product quality, owning KPIs.
• Plan and execute cost-reduction and process improvements with tracked financial impact.
• Document and maintain process parameters, FMEA, and SOPs.
• Analyze SPC data and process capability; ensure specification adherence.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and reduce COPQ.
• Ensure EHS compliance in plating operations.
• Support related engineering activities and process-flow improvements.
• Oversee plating-related activities to sustain stability and continual improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Head of Department.
