Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a laboratory technician to perform chemical analysis by XRF, including sample preparation for materials submitted by internal and external customers. You will conduct tests such as specific gravity, LOI and fired coefficient of expansion, and support ISO 17025 audits.

You must maintain good housekeeping, keep equipment in good working order, participate in 5S activities, and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ceramic materials and ceramic technology.
• Experience with XRF spectroscopy is preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory environment is desirable.
• Proactive and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out chemical analysis by XRF, including sample preparation for various materials submitted by internal and external customers.
• Carry out tests such as specific gravity, LOI and fired coefficient of expansion.
• Assist for testing and pass in ISO 17025 Audit.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the laboratory.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition.
• Actively involved in 5S activities and contribute to Kaizen.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
