Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a lab setting within construction, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Construction Technology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a laboratory setting, preferably in construction.
• Proficient in laboratory testing methods and data reporting software.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain lab equipment and materials for use in experiments and tests.
• Record and document results of tests and experiments, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
• Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of lab supplies, and request restocks when needed.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Conduct routine and specialized tests on construction materials, including soils and concrete.
• Prepare and maintain samples for testing according to guidelines and standards.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for quality control audits and inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following safety protocols.
• Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to ensure proper testing and material verification on-site.
