Micron Technology in Malaysia seeks an experienced Mechanical/Facilities Engineer who will own end-to-end operation of critical cooling systems, including MTCHW, LTCHW, PCW, and EG loops. You will drive predictive maintenance, energy optimization, and reliability improvements while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years in central-plant engineering, familiarity with BMS and SAP PM, and a track record of CAPEX/OPEX management in a high-purity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical or facilities engineering in central plants.
• Experience in semiconductor/high-purity environments preferred.
• Familiarity with BMS, SAP PM and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsabilités

• Act as the O&M owner with 24/7 availability for designated systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Plan maintenance via SAP PM, manage work orders and budgets.
• Oversee OEM contracts, spares, and capital projects from concept to handover.
• Lead commissioning/start-up of chillers, PCW, and glycol loops.
