Job summary

OrgScale Recruitment is seeking a senior analytics leader to drive the UX Lab initiatives in Malaysia. You will define strategic analytics frameworks, oversee a newly formed team, and ensure data-backed decisions across product, engineering, QA, and regional markets.

Job description

• Own the overall direction, operational priorities, and quantitative outcomes for the UX Lab team, including investigation scope, monitoring protocols, and insight delivery.
• Translate overarching business and product objectives into clear, prioritized analytical frameworks across Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), and regional market teams.
• Lead the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and professional growth of a newly established team of UX analysts.
• Establish and maintain high-quality analytical standards across the organization, ensuring data-backed decisions through rigorous metrics, experimentation, and behavioral analysis.
• Identify, isolate, and resolve user-experience friction points and functional gaps prior to operational or business escalation.
• Drive systemic product improvements via user testing, behavioral experimentation, automated monitoring, and competitive market intelligence.
• Communicate user-experience findings, strategic recommendations, and team performance metrics directly to senior executive leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years in product analytics, UX analytics, or digital product data analytics, with demonstrated experience leading and managing analytical personnel.
• Proven track record of owning strategic business and product outcomes, going beyond the delivery of static dashboards or standardized reporting.
• Advanced expertise in SQL alongside proficiency in modern product analytics platforms (e.g.,Amplitude, PostHog, Mixpanel, or equivalent systems).
• Ability to seamlessly pivot between macro-level team strategy and granular analytical root cause investigations (e.g., specific funnel conversion drop-offs).
• Direct experience recruiting, scaling, and mentoring high-performing analytical teams from inception.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, hold team members accountable, and effectively align cross-functional stakeholders.
