Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Technology Development Engineer - Thermal Systems to own motor cooling, heat dissipation, heater design, and emerging vibration‑assisted thermal technologies across next‑gen platforms. You will apply CFD and thermal modelling, validate concepts with experiments, and mentor engineering teams to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in thermal systems, motor/electronics cooling, or related technology.
• Strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermal design.
• Proficiency in CFD/thermal modelling tools (ANSYS) and data analysis (MATLAB).
• Experience with airflow cooling, thermal interfaces, and heater design.

Responsibilities

• Own thermal technology development from concept to product implementation.
• Lead motor cooling and heat‑dissipation design for compact systems.
• Develop heater systems and heating elements with efficient control and safety.
• Apply CFD and thermal modelling to analyze conduction, convection, radiation, and temperature distribution.
• Investigate emerging thermal solutions (piezoelectric devices, vibration cooling, micro‑blowers).
• Design and execute validation testing with defined methods and acceptance criteria.
• Solve performance and reliability problems using data, root cause analysis and FMEA.
• Collaborate with product/design teams to ensure timely design delivery.
• Mentor engineers and review analyses and test plans to improve validation methods.
• Shape thermal technology roadmaps aligning with business needs.
