Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Test Engineer to design and manage manufacturing test strategies aligned with product specifications and customer requirements. You will drive test program development, automation, and data-driven improvements across NPI, pilot runs and mass production.
You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing and QA teams, identify test gaps, assess risk, and lead issue resolution to ensure on-time readiness for production.

Support test introduction from EVT, DVT, PVT, MVT, Pilot Run through MP (Mass Production).
Develop and track the NPI Test Plan.
Lead or participate in Test Coverage Reviews.
Identify test coverage gaps and potential customer-escape risks.
Support Engineering Build, Pilot Run, and MP readiness.
Establish Test Bug Lists and Issue Tracking Lists.
Track issues with owner, due date, validation results, closure evidence, and status.
Define containment and perform risk assessments for unresolved issues.
Develop manufacturing test strategies based on product specifications and customer requirements.
Evaluate test coverage of product functions to identify untested, insufficiently covered, or duplicated tests; establish mapping between product requirements and test items.
Ensure test limits are supported by product specifications, customer requirements, and measurement capability.
Assess whether changes to components, design, firmware, or software impact test coverage.
Develop, modify, debug, and maintain manufacturing test programs.
Establish release, rollback, backup, and recovery mechanisms.
Support systematic and centralized test program deployment.
Ensure test programs, INI files, limits, and configurations are consistent between HQ and Malaysia Plant.
Analyze failures from NPI, mass production, ORT, reliability testing, RMA, and customer returns - Use problem-analysis methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa), 8D, Pareto, Fault Tree Analysis, and DOE.
Drive automation of test execution, data collection, log analysis, report generation, version deployment, and station monitoring.
Reduce risks from manual operations and manual configuration.
Optimize test time, cycle time, and test cost.
Establish standardized mechanisms for deploying test programs and test stations.
Act as the technical product interface, coordinating with R&D, customers, manufacturing, QA, TE, AFTE, SQM, PMC, and suppliers.
Lead technical issue meetings and track action items.
Report product status, risks, root-cause analysis, and improvement of progress to customers and management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related field
5–10+ years of Test Engineer experience; able to make key technical decisions, coordinate resources, and lead/guide a team.
Experience managing technical teams preferred.
Preferred programming/development skills: Python, C / C++, C#, Bash / Shell Script, SQL, Visual Basic.
