Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop, debug, validate and transfer complete production test solutions for System Protection semiconductor products. You will own test development across the NPI lifecycle, collaborating with design, product engineering, QA and manufacturing.

The role requires a Master's in a related field, 10+ years of semiconductor test experience, and hands-on with ATE platforms (Teradyne/Advantest/Cohu).

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of PMIC architectures, hot-switch controllers, and analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms (Teradyne/Advantest/Cohu).
• Programming experience with IG-XL, SmartTest, C++, and/or Python.
• Knowledge of reliability testing, characterisation, and yield optimisation.
• Understanding of DFT, statistical analysis, and correlation studies.
• Experience managing NPI activities and working with global cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop characterisation and production test solutions for new semiconductor products.
• Design, develop, and debug test hardware and software.
• Perform ATE-to-bench correlation and validation activities.
• Conduct robustness testing including spike checks, R&R studies, and reliability test support.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation through formal review processes.
• Develop innovative test methodologies to improve test efficiency, quality, and product robustness.
• Transfer test solutions into reliability and production environments.
• Work closely with Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
