Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead ATE test solutions for DCG NPI. You will collaborate with design, test engineering, reliability and software teams to meet milestones, while optimizing test time, yield, cost and quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong DFT for SOC, hands-on ATE development, and proficiency in C++, Java, Python, with Windows/Linux experience and Advantest platform familiarity. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong test development experience & knowledge of DFT for SOC.
• Experience with ATE test platforms and data analysis.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Python.
• Windows and Linux familiarity; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive test solution and coverage development to meet milestones, cost and quality.
• Develop test patterns/flows, debug and characterize tests.
• Engage pre-Silicon with design, scoping, planning and validation.
• Post-Silicon bring-up of test patterns for mass production enablement.
• Characterization, debug of new silicon designs and process tech.
• Optimize test coverage, yield, time and cost.
