Job summary

Lumileds is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to sustain test processes, develop test systems, and support manufacturing functional testing and operations. You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, analyze datasets, improve UPH, yield and efficiency, and work with production supervisors, process engineering, IE, and equipment engineering to provide technical leadership.

The role focuses on backend process quality, process capability, and reducing variation, while driving cost improvements.

Qualifications

• MSA/GR&R knowledge required.
• Lead and coach junior test engineers.
• Contribute ideas and work in a team to improve existing and new products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead cross-functional projects for process improvements.
• Analyze datasets to derive insights for project improvements.
• Support UPH, yield and efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical leadership across testing, manufacturing and QA.
• Investigate failures to understand failure mechanisms and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor junior test engineers and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
