Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang, Bayan Lepas invites applications for a Manufacturing Technician III. You will ensure equipment and processes stay in optimal health through Process Monitoring and related activities in designated areas.

Key duties include process setup, calibration, minor machine repairs, SPC monitoring, and driving equipment reliability to original performance. Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint and report writing is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering fields.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
• Field of Study: Mechanical, Electrical, & Manufacturing Fields.
• Years of Experience (Minimum): 3 - 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Process Monitoring/ Setup/Buyoff/Low Yield Lot disposition e.g. calibration, set-up, initialization, machine conversion in specific areas.
• Perform minor machine repair and verify functionality of modules.
• SPC process control and monitoring.
• Optimizes equipment reliability and performance to original levels.
• Soft skill development – Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint, Presentation skill, FBPS, Technical report writing etc.
• Perform machine trouble shooting and prevention while process issue related to 5M1E.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
