Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Batu Kawan, Penang, to join our production engineering team. You will lead test development, automate validation, and ensure robust electronic and software tests for high‑technology products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in test engineering, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. We offer medical, dental, vision cover, life insurance, PTO and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Test Engineering including functional, burn-in, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of hardware/software test development and automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates testing activities for electronic engineering and software;
• Calibrates instruments and control devices;
• Analyzes test data and prepares reports;
• Develops/modifies test programs (Python, LabVIEW, Perl);
• Trains floor staff on test hardware/software;
• Resolves test yield problems and implements corrective actions;
• Creates and maintains process documentation.
