Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Test Development Lead Engineer, Project, in Penang, Malaysia, to drive test development across multiple concurrent projects for enterprise hardware. You will define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource needs aligned with EVT/DVT/PVT/MP milestones, while crafting comprehensive manufacturing test strategies for ICT and FCT.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with R&D, Firmware/BIOS/BMC, and Factory teams, and ensure quality and stability targets are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in test engineering or test development for complex electronic products.
• Direct enterprise hardware experience (servers, network switches, or storage systems).
• Strong familiarity with the full NPI lifecycle (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP).

Responsibilities

• Lead test development workstreams for multiple concurrent projects, defining scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Develop manufacturing test strategies (ICT and FCT) including test coverage, hardware/fixture architecture, and data infrastructure.
• Act as the primary technical interface between the TDE team and internal stakeholders to translate specs into test requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and drive root-cause analysis for test failures.
