Job summary

Celestica in Penang, Malaysia leads the design and manufacture of high-reliability hardware solutions. The role defines and deploys full-lifecycle test methodologies—including ICT, MDA, FCT, ESS and system-level validation—and partners with NPI teams to drive DFT/DFM before mass production.

You will hire and mentor test engineers, oversee automated test equipment and MES data logging, monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, manage budgets, and prepare ISO, AS9100 and Nadcap audits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing test engineering, with 2–3 years in leadership.
• Experience in EMS/Contract Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering.
• Experience with ISO, AS9100, Nadcap audits.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy full-lifecycle test methodologies (ICT, MDA, FCT, ESS).
• Lead NPI with DFT/DFM requirements.
• Develop and integrate automated test equipment and MES data logging.
• Monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, and drive CAPA.
• Manage budgets, hires, training across shifts.
• Prepare ISO/AS9100/Nadcap audits.
