Job summary

Binastra Group seeks an experienced Tender/Prequalification Lead to drive bid preparation, pricing, and procurement strategy for construction projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate quotations, assess risks, and prepare contract-ready tender packages.

The role requires strong English and Malay language skills, knowledge of tendering processes, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender exercises: sourcing quotations, rate build-up, estimating, query prep, BQ pricing.
• Prepare value engineering to offer competitive pricing.
• Prequalify qualifications to protect company interests.
• Highlight discrepancies/ ambiguities in tender documents.
• Pre-check accuracy of tender quantities and rates.
• Prepare tender correspondence for contract formation if awarded.
• Monitor post-contract administration and contract issues with clients/consultants.
