Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is hiring for a seasoned maintenance specialist to perform scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance on front-end wafer fabrication lines. You will troubleshoot failures, prepare daily reports, support new equipment hookup, and ensure adherence to 5S, EHS, waste management, cleanroom, and quality protocols.

The role requires more than 5 years in wafer fab equipment, with strong process development experience and proficiency in OEE, SPC, FDC, and DMAIC

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment experience.
• Experienced in manufacturing, process engineering, product or process development.
• Familiar with OEE, SPC, FDC, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC, TWI, Digital Manufacturing and Automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment scheduled maintenances according to maintenance schedules and specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform unscheduled maintenances to ensure quality recovery and minimum down time.
• Prepare daily scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activity reports for engineers and supervisors and maintain equipment spare parts and consumables.
• Engage in equipment Continuous Improvement Programs and support new equipment hookup and startup activities.
• Adhere to company 5S, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Waste Management, Cleanroom Protocol and Total Quality Management System policies.
• Support activity related to production equipment, such as material preparation.

• Perform equipment scheduled maintenances according to the maintenance schedules and specifications.

• Familiar with OEE, SPC, FDC, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC, TWI, Digital Manufacturing and Automation.


• Able to work effectively in cross-cultural multi-national working environment & organization.


• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.


• Able to work in shift rotation.
