Job summary

MISUMI MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Technical Support Leader (Assistant Manager) to lead on-site technical support and engage with customers on design and application issues.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering and 3+ years in technical support or sales, with CAD/CAM proficiency and strong communication. Travel to other states within Malaysia may be needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Precision or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3+ years in technical support or technical sales.
• Experience in B2B industry; field application/design preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Support and propose application design to customers on-site.
• Support Sales Team to handle customer’s technical queries or requirement.
• Sales visits to customers on technical queries will be required.
• Manage customers’ products claims.
• Liaise with SEA HQ and Japan on technical certification.
• Set up and manage technical seminar to reach out to potential customers.
• Prepare technical presentation material for events.
