Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Professional Services engineer to design, optimize, and implement Cisco services for customer outcomes.

You will drive architecture, execution, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to deliver measurable results. Responsibilities include building test labs, translating requirements into solution designs, and mentoring others while maintaining alignment with Cisco policies.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of at least one Customer Vertical / IT industry.
• Expert at software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; able to work in ambiguous circumstances.
• Demonstrates expertise on Agile, DevOps and SDLC methodologies.
• Comfortable communicating in business Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers along with appropriate internal/external resources on development/optimization/deployment of Cisco services and solutions.
• Take ownership of task/project implementation for assigned engagements.
• Implement new techniques and methodologies used in customer delivery and share lessons with the team.
• Build and review Design Documents: High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, and Implementation/Change Management Plans.
• Set up test environments to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Demonstrate software skills to configure/deploy Cisco products and solutions.
• Lead knowledge transfer and contribute scripts/digital intellectual capital.
• Serve as focal point for problem resolution for assigned engagements; ensure rapid resolution across technologies.
